Bindi Irwin makes exciting ‘family announcement’ amid rumours she is pregnant with her second child
Bindi Irwin has revealed how a rhino named ‘DJ’ has become ‘part of the family’.
The wildlife warrior, 24, took to Instagram to make the announcement on Monday sharing a photo of the African animal.
‘Meet DJ, our darling rhino at Australia Zoo in our newest YouTube,’ Bindi wrote, promoting the zoo on Instagram.

Bindi later cooed in the YouTube video that DJ has been with Australia Zoo for many years with him a beloved mainstay at the zoo.
‘We feel very lucky because behind us is gorgeous DJ. Now, any day spent with DJ is a good day,’ Bindi said.
‘He is such an amazing rhino and we love DJ with all our hearts. DJ has been with us for many years and he really does feel like part of our family,’ she added.

Bindi went on to call DJ an ‘awesome’ rhino and dad at the park.
The wildlife star and Chandler went on to detail the threats rhinos face in the wild.
‘These guys face a lot of pressure from habitat destruction to illegal poaching. It is truly devastating what is happening to rhinos in the wild,’ she said.
Rhinos are often the victim of poaching as their horn is used in traditional medicine in some cultures.

The couple posed for photos at The Crocodile Lounge in Queensland alongside Chandler’s family from Florida as he held baby Grace.
In all the photos, Bindi strategically stood with her belly covered by the three tiered birthday cake decorated with wild animals.
